About The Position

SRM Materials is seeking dependable, safety-minded Block Plant Machine Operators to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate and monitor automated block-making equipment to produce high-quality concrete block products safely, efficiently, and consistently.

Requirements

Prior manufacturing, production, construction, concrete, or equipment-operating experience preferred, but training may be provided.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn automated production equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work around dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
Must be able to follow safety instructions and work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Operate block plant machinery and related equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor equipment performance, product quality, and production flow throughout the shift.
Set up, adjust, clean, and perform basic troubleshooting on machinery as needed.
Inspect finished block for proper size, shape, color, strength, and overall quality.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Assist with changing molds, clearing jams, and performing routine preventive maintenance.
Communicate production concerns, equipment issues, and safety hazards to supervision promptly.
Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and plant procedures.
Assist other team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
