About The Position

The Blending Operator performs production functions to efficiently meet customer-order goals by blending products and operating machines. The position works the second shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to comfortably operate blending equipment and scales.

Responsibilities

• Verify ingredients and weights against batch tickets before blending.
• Unload ingredients into blending equipment and mix batches according to specifications.
• Maintain blending standards.
• Collect product samples for quality checks as required.
• Occasionally bag product under the blender.
• Maintain the integrity of raw materials.
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean, following LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
