About The Position

The Tea Blender is responsible for all activities related to receiving, blending, and processing raw tea to support production operations. This role ensures accurate blending, material handling, and product movement while maintaining quality and safety standards. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists to run bag-slitting equipment and blend tea for production lines. Check and complete tea blend paperwork to verify accuracy of all blend components. Repair and tape damaged tea bags to minimize product loss. Manually dump tea as required to support production needs. Operate both North and South tea blending systems according to established procedures. Move tea hoppers to the appropriate production lines and verify correct blend placement. Complete rework activities as needed. Assist in Blending, Warehouse, and Production areas as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
• 1-2 years of forklift operating experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and daily production demands.
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours per shift and routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
