Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong safety mindset
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to work with co-workers.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification ( training is provided )

Responsibilities

  • Transfer products into and out of pails, drums, and totes using transfer pumps and hoses
  • Read paperwork with chemical amounts and blending instructions
  • Pull product samples and submit them to the Lab for quality control
  • Work in controlled “white room” and food-safe environments while following established chemical handling, cleanliness, and safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to help ensure product quality and safe operations
  • Label containers and secure closures
  • Inspect, label, store, and prepare products for shipment
  • Stage, load, and unload pails, drums, and totes
  • Operate a forklift
  • Wear required PPE for safety
  • Keep your work area safe, clean, and orderly
  • Lift and/or move 55 lbs
  • Cross-train in areas such as shipping/receiving, bulk handling, inventory control, chemical packaging, fiberglass handling, tote cleaning, preventive maintenance, and yard truck spotting
  • Other duties as assigned
