About The Position

The Blender Operator at Garfield Color Compounding & Additives is responsible for accurately blending raw materials to create products that meet customer specifications and industry standards. The operator conducts blending operations efficiently and safely, follows established protocols and procedures, monitors equipment performance, and makes adjustments to optimize production output. The role contributes to the manufacturing process by maintaining product consistency and quality. This position is on the 3rd shift, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., for 40 hours. It requires extended standing and walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, repetitive movements, and lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50–100 pounds as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Basic understanding of blending processes and equipment.
Attention to detail to follow blending recipes and conduct quality checks.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and report issues.
Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make adjustments.
Time management skills to complete blending operations efficiently within the shift schedule.

Nice To Haves

Experience in durable goods manufacturing.
Familiarity with quality control procedures.
Forklift certification.
