About The Position

The Grant Coordinator – Blended Learning provides leadership, coordination, and implementation support for district blended learning initiatives with an emphasis on successful execution of the Texas Education Agency LASO Cycle 4 Blended Learning Grant. This position supports campus leaders and teachers in designing, implementing, and sustaining high-quality blended learning practices that increase student engagement and academic achievement, with a priority focus on K–8 mathematics. The Grant Coordinator serves as the district liaison between grant requirements, campus implementation, instructional technology integration, and professional learning. This role supports instructional transformation by helping administrators and teachers effectively leverage technology, personalized learning structures, and digital instructional resources aligned to district goals and the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate required
  • Minimum of three years successful classroom teaching experience required
  • Knowledge of blended learning models including station rotation, flipped classroom, personalized learning, and technology-enhanced instruction
  • Knowledge of Texas curriculum standards (TEKS), instructional best practices, and assessment systems
  • Understanding of digital citizenship, student online safety, cybersecurity, and student data privacy requirements including COPPA, CIPA, and Texas HB 18
  • Knowledge of learning management systems, digital instructional resources, and classroom technology ecosystems
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging professional learning for adult learners
  • Ability to analyze student achievement and implementation data to guide instructional decisions
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage timelines, budgets, reporting requirements, and grant deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and district staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Technology, Educational Leadership, or related field preferred
  • Texas principal certification or instructional technology certification preferred
  • Experience in blended learning implementation or instructional technology integration preferred
  • Experience coaching teachers or facilitating adult professional learning preferred
  • Experience with grant implementation, compliance monitoring, or program management preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate district implementation of the LASO Cycle 4 Blended Learning Grant and ensure all grant requirements, timelines, and deliverables are completed with fidelity
  • Maintain documentation required for grant reporting, monitoring, and compliance
  • Monitor grant expenditures in collaboration with district leadership and finance staff to ensure alignment with approved grant budgets
  • Serve as the district point of contact for grant-related communication with TEA and external partners
  • Assist district leadership in preparing grant progress reports, implementation updates, and required documentation
  • Support sustainability planning for blended learning initiatives beyond the grant period
  • Support implementation of blended learning practices in classrooms with an emphasis on K–8 mathematics instruction
  • Collaborate with campus leadership teams to align blended learning practices with district instructional priorities and campus improvement plans
  • Assist teachers in integrating digital resources and instructional technology into curriculum and instructional practices
  • Support development of personalized learning environments that increase student engagement and ownership of learning
  • Promote instructional strategies that strengthen rigor, differentiation, and student-centered learning
  • Assist with selection and implementation of digital instructional resources aligned to TEKS and district curriculum
  • Plan and deliver professional learning for teachers, instructional staff, and administrators related to blended learning and digital instructional practices
  • Provide job-embedded coaching, modeling, and support in classrooms
  • Conduct classroom walkthroughs focused on blended learning implementation and provide timely feedback and support
  • Assess teacher needs related to blended learning and technology integration and develop targeted supports
  • Collaborate with district instructional coaches, curriculum staff, and technology teams to support campus implementation
  • Collect and analyze implementation and student achievement data related to blended learning initiatives
  • Monitor progress toward grant goals and district performance targets
  • Use data to identify successes, challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Share progress and recommendations with district and campus leadership
  • Collaborate across departments including Curriculum & Instruction, Technology, Special Programs, and Campus Leadership
  • Communicate regularly with principals and teachers regarding grant implementation and blended learning expectations
  • Support family communication related to digital learning initiatives when needed
  • Represent the district in professional learning networks and grant-related meetings
