About The Position

As a Blaster, you'll play a vital role in preparing products for coating by operating blast equipment while ensuring every part meets customer specifications and our high standards for quality. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 65 lbs, and rarely up to 75 lbs.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with chemicals and elevated temperatures.
Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and move throughout an entire shift.

Responsibilities

Operate media blast machines safely and efficiently.
Prepare products for coating according to customer specifications and quality standards.
Follow job travelers and production schedules to keep production running smoothly.
Transport product bins using forklifts and pallet jacks.
Ensure products receive proper treatment to prevent rust and coating defects.
Complete daily production logs and required documentation.
Conduct routine safety walks and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
Work closely with teammates to meet production goals and communicate effectively across shifts.
Keep your work area clean, organized, and production-ready.
Cross-train in other production areas and assist other departments as needed.
