About The Position

API Heat Transfer is seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about being part of a transformation. The company has a new mission, new leadership, and is actively progressing towards Lean Cultural Change. The Operations Team is on track to become a Lean Management powerhouse. This role is for a Burner/Grinder A on the Second Shift. API takes its culture transformation seriously and uses a Culture Index Survey to help find the best fit for positions and the organization. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and helps to focus interview time on job behaviors and work history.

Requirements

Must be able to perform full scope of blasting to obtain finishes of white, near white or commercial finish on all component parts.
Required to operate automatic lance blast and manual blast nozzle.
Must do own set up of equipment, loading and unloading of material.
When not performing sandblast operation, will perform full scope of work as required by Grinder A.
Performs full scope of grinding/polishing work in a highly skilled manner.
Sets up for self, using prints, specifications and process sheets.
