About The Position

Turning Stone Enterprises is hiring Blackjack Dealers in Training through its paid dealer school. Training classes run Monday through Friday, with the next class scheduled from January 4 through January 29, 2027. Classes are held at Dream Catcher Plaza in Oneida, New York, and additional 2027 class dates are listed for Dream Catcher Plaza, Point Place Casino Hotel, and YBR Casino & Sports Book. Class times may vary based on enrollment. Successful completion of the class is required but does not guarantee employment. The role is based at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York, with work opportunities at Turning Stone Resort Casino, Point Place Casino, or YBR Casino & Sports Book. Candidates must be willing to relocate.

The starting pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Dealers may earn over $20 per hour including tips, but tip rates can change and are not guaranteed. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The role involves dealing blackjack, managing bets and payouts, making change, maintaining game pace, and providing professional, welcoming guest service while following gaming policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have mathematical ability to count cards, pay out bets, and make change.
• Be able to speak, read, and understand English, and communicate continuously with professionalism and accuracy.
• Have excellent guest service skills.
• Be able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 31–40 pounds.
• Be willing to relocate.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately take guest bets, pay out bets, make change for guests, maintain game pace, and deal cards.
