About The Position
The Black Friday Weekend Associate generates sales by demonstrating enthusiasm for products, brands, fashion, and trends. The associate completes initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team, contributes positively to the store team, and consistently provides an exceptional customer experience. This is a part-time position, and availability to work Black Friday Weekend is required. The associate represents the PacSun brand, supports a positive work environment, maintains the company’s fashion image, and continues learning about products and trends. The role includes engaging customers, supporting sales and promotions, resolving customer concerns in accordance with company procedures, completing assigned work efficiently, maintaining visual standards and store organization, following company and loss prevention policies, sharing customer feedback, and supporting store sales, operational, and digital sales goals. The position requires frequent lifting or moving of items up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of items up to 35 pounds. It involves extended periods of sitting or standing, climbing ladders as needed, and moving around the sales floor, stockroom, and office. The associate must be able to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
Requirements

- Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
- Ability to work Black Friday Weekend.
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to frequently sit or stand for long periods, climb ladders as needed, and maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
- Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
- Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends while representing the PacSun brand.
- Contribute to a positive working environment and maintain the company’s fashion image by following Employee Appearance Guidelines.
- Learn about products, brands, fashion, and trends, and work to improve individual performance as a productive team member.
- Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
- Focus on selling while remaining aware of product value and promotions.
- Handle customer situations according to policy and procedures, attempt to resolve issues, and involve leadership with escalated concerns.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards as directed by management.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness to support a safe working and shopping environment.
- Follow company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, the Safety Program, and Loss Prevention policies; communicate violations to leadership or through the Silent Witness Hotline.
- Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve the customer experience.
- Participate in company and store contests and events, stay current on financial goals and priorities, and support leadership in achieving sales and operational goals.
- Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS.
- Work Black Friday Weekend.
