About The Position

The Courtyard Loma Linda is looking for a Bistro Attendant which represents the heart of the guest dining experience—delivering memorable service that reflects our Wings of Excellence. Every interaction contributes to our mission to provide exceptional hospitality that soars above expectations. Each Server is responsible for providing attentive, efficient, and professional service to guests in the restaurant or lounge. This position ensures guests enjoy a pleasant dining experience that reflects our hospitality.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Must meet local age requirements for alcohol service, where applicable.
  • Must be available for varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Bistro experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and provide menu recommendations when appropriate.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver items efficiently.
  • Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle special requests or complaints professionally.
  • Promote daily specials, beverages, and upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas.
  • Process payments accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Comply with all alcohol and food service regulations.
  • Adherence to the Hotel's grooming and appearance standards required.
  • Opportunity for additional hours in Bartending or the Cook position, if interested.
