About The Position

Bennett Hospitality Management is seeking a friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Bistro Attendant for a Courtyard by Marriott property. This position is responsible for delivering excellent food and beverage service in The Bistro, creating a welcoming and efficient dining experience for hotel guests during breakfast and evening service. The ideal candidate enjoys hospitality, works well in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in exceptional guest service.

Requirements

Prior food service, hotel, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
Basic computer and cash handling skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, professional service.
Prepare and serve menu items, beverages, coffee drinks, and grab-and-go selections according to brand standards.
Operate POS system and accurately process cash, credit card, and room charge transactions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of The Bistro, kitchen prep areas, dining room, and beverage stations.
Restock food, beverages, utensils, and supplies throughout each shift.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service procedures.
Assist with inventory rotation, product freshness, and waste control.
Complete opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and cash reconciliation.
Respond to guest questions and resolve concerns professionally.
Communicate effectively with front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams.
Uphold Marriott service standards and company expectations.
