About The Position

Ackerman SFC is a vibrant and community-focused recreation facility committed to promoting health and wellness. We are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our team as Birthday Party Hosts. If you enjoy creating memorable experiences and have a passion for organizing celebrations, this could be the perfect role for you! As a Birthday Party Host at Ackerman SFC, you will play a crucial role in making a child's birthday extra special and ensuring our guests have a fantastic time. You'll be responsible for coordinating and hosting parties, ensuring that every detail is executed flawlessly. This role is part-time and ideal for individuals who are energetic, responsible, and great with children. Parties are scheduled on weekend day and evenings.

Requirements

• Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with a genuine passion for creating positive experiences.
• Experience working with children, such as coaching, teaching, or childcare.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Prefer candidates to be 16 or older. If under 16 will be required to submit a Work Permit before starting work and be subject to Child Labor Laws.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet birthday party guests and their families with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Lead and participate in age-appropriate games, activities, and entertainment to ensure children have fun.
• Set up and decorate party areas including tables, chairs, and decorations based on party themes and requirements.
• Ensure safety and supervision of all party guests during activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized party space throughout the event.
• Engage with parents and guardians, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Follow established guidelines to ensure parties run smoothly.
