About The Position

The Birthday Party Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all birthday party guests. This role includes setting up and cleaning party areas, coordinating activities, assisting guests throughout their event, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm. The attendant serves as the main point of contact for the birthday family, ensuring every party runs smoothly from start to finish.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event hosting preferred.
Experience working with children or in a recreational setting is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Outgoing, energetic personality with a passion for creating fun experiences.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Ability to stand, walk, and actively engage with guests for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Must be comfortable working in environments with loud noise, bright lights, and large groups of children.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist birthday families and guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Serve as the primary host for the party, managing the schedule and flow of activities.
Communicate clearly with parents, children, and guests to ensure all needs are met.
Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly, energetic, and professional attitude.
Prepare the party area before each event, including decorations, table settings, and supplies.
Ensure food, beverages, and cake are presented according to party standards.
Clean and reset the party space promptly after each event to prepare for the next group.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all guest areas during the party.
Lead games, activities, and entertainment to engage party guests and create a fun environment.
Assist with the timing and coordination of activities, including meal service, cake cutting, and gift opening.
Ensure safety and supervision of children during all activities.
Follow all company safety policies and ensure guests adhere to park or facility rules.
Report any safety concerns, accidents, or incidents to management immediately.
Maintain a safe environment for all guests and staff members.
Work collaboratively with food service, entertainment, and management teams to ensure seamless party execution.
Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding schedules, supplies, and any guest concerns.
Participate in pre- and post-shift meetings to discuss event details and performance.
Monitor inventory of party supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
Assist with other guest events or special programs as directed by management.
Support overall facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in all areas.
