About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the Biomedical Instrumentation course (BMG5103, Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course focuses on instrumentation designed to measure physiological variables related to various body systems and includes equipment used in emergency, critical care, surgery, and anesthesia. The courses will be taught in person, but the teaching method may change due to health measures or other reasons. This position may be combined with course ELG6321 A00.

Requirements

  • PhD in Mechanical, Biomedical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline with specialization.
  • Strong background and demonstrable expertise in the subject.
  • Licensed or eligible to be licensed from one of Canada’s engineering regulators.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Passive competence in a second language.

Nice To Haves

  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities
