This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing non-imaging diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices. The technician will also install, calibrate, and test new medical electronic devices and systems. They will escalate complex issues, complete assigned tasks according to manufacturer guidelines and company policies, and provide technical advice to clinical staff. The position also involves mentoring entry-level technicians and interns, documenting all equipment maintenance, interacting with manufacturers, and recommending capital equipment replacements. Participation in educational programs is expected to maintain technical aptitude.
