Provides Planned Maintenance (PM), safety testing, repairs, calibration, installation, routine and emergency service to general diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment, as assigned by the Clinical Engineering (CE) Manager. This role involves maintaining a working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and ensuring adherence to ethical and professional integrity. The technician will perform PM and Corrective Maintenance (CM) procedures on various clinical equipment, diagnose problems using scientific principles, and document all activities. They will also interact with clinical staff to resolve operational issues, manage parts and supplies, and complete work order documentation. Teamwork, continuous process improvement, and on-call service coverage are also key aspects of this position.
