About The Position
The Biomed/Maintenance Tech supports medical staff as needed in high-pressure conditions. The role involves general maintenance, including painting and sheet roof repair, as well as basic electrical and plumbing work. It also includes testing medical equipment using medical test equipment.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing work and general maintenance processes and methods.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic knowledge and ability to perform medical equipment testing and use medical test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance, including painting and sheet roof repair.
- Assist with basic electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Test medical equipment using medical test equipment.
- Assist medical staff as needed in high-pressure conditions.
