About The Position

Exponent is seeking a Biomechanics Associate for its Biomechanics Practice in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves working within a team to execute biomechanics projects focused on human injury analyses. The position requires analyzing and synthesizing technical biomechanical data, including kinematics, dynamics, mechanisms of injury, and human tolerance, using analytical tools. The Associate will be responsible for communicating findings through written reports and verbal presentations, managing projects with cost-control measures, and assisting in research, publications, and conference presentations. A key aspect of the role includes actively participating in the Biomechanics Practice and marketing its technical capabilities to clients and the scientific community.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biomechanics, Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Presently legally authorized to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship or processing required
• Excellent written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety of professionals, including managers, engineers, attorneys, and administrative staff

Nice To Haves

• Experience conducting technical analyses concerning the causation of physical injuries resulting from incidents involving motor vehicles, industrial equipment, and/or consumer products (or other related experience and research) is a plus

Responsibilities
