About The Position

This position is for a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for High School Biology for first semester fall of 2026.

Requirements

• Possess a strong Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a demonstrated character of integrity.
• Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith.
• Possess a passion for Christian education and student discipleship.
• Demonstrated knowledge in science and a clear understanding of how to teach biology effectively.
• Comfort with or openness to learning school management software and other online teaching tools such as Google Classroom and the Google suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Science is required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior teaching experience.
• A teaching license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach High School Biology effectively.
• Connect biblical truths and biblical worldview perspectives found in science to students' lives.
• Work with administration, support staff, other faculty, and students.
