About The Position
The Department of Biochemistry and Physiology is seeking a motivated Bioinformatician to support the Geroscience MACE core and the Lipidomics and Metabolomics mass spectrometry facility’s bioinformatics work. The successful candidate will support faculty with experimental setup and data analysis and will have prior experience supporting a bioinformatics facility and analyzing multi-omics data. The position is subject to renewal based on availability of funds.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Biology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, or Microbiology with a computational focus; Computer Science with a biological focus; or a related discipline.
- Prior experience with bioinformatics facility support.
- Experience with multi-omics data analysis.
Responsibilities
