The Department of Urology has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Bioinformatics Analyst to work on-site in Miami. The Senior Bioinformatics Analyst works with research staff to extend capabilities in bioinformatics and improve understanding of genetic variation in human health and disease. The Senior Bioinformatics Analyst also assumes responsibility for the development and maintenance of novel bioinformatics methods. The Sharifi Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated Bioinformatics Analyst to support translational and mechanistic studies focused on prostate cancer progression, steroid metabolism, androgen signaling, therapeutic resistance, and biomarker discovery. The successful candidate will work closely with laboratory scientists and clinicians to analyze genomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic, metabolomic, and clinical datasets and contribute to high-impact cancer research.
