The Student Exploration and Experience Development (SEED) program is a 12-week internship opportunity at Veolia for students to gain hands-on experience in sustainability and ecological transformation. Interns will work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and participate in workshops and networking events. The program aims to nurture talent, promote innovation, and foster meaningful connections between students and industry professionals. The SEED program provides students with the skills, knowledge, and connections needed to make a positive impact in the industry. Veolia North America is seeking a passionate and motivated student or recent graduate to join our Sustainability Department as a Biodiversity Program Intern. This is a unique opportunity to bridge academic knowledge with real-world corporate sustainability initiatives, directly contributing to measurable environmental impact across our operational sites. This is primarily an office-based role at our Boston headquarters, with the opportunity to visit a few operational sites in the Northeast to see biodiversity initiatives in action. This internship is centered around three core goals: Deploy our Ecological Management Program across all enrolled sites by translating technical recommendations into clear, actionable resources that site managers can use. Raise internal awareness about Biodiversity by driving employee engagement through a company-wide Biodiversity Photo Contest and supporting educational outreach across our divisions. Scale biodiversity initiatives by identifying what's working at our most advanced sites and building the tools and frameworks needed to replicate those successes across other North American locations.
