The Faculty of Science at Monash University is seeking a motivated and emerging researcher to join a project focused on integrating global and local historical data. The goal is to enhance understanding of physical environment–biodiversity relationships and changes within the Antarctic region. This role will contribute to the Securing Antarctica's Environmental Future (SAEF) initiative and the research outcomes of the School of Biological Sciences, aiming to generate new evidence for biodiversity policy in Antarctica. Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, the Research Fellow will help develop a deeper insight into how environmental change influences biodiversity patterns over time, thereby supporting policy development in one of the world’s most sensitive and rapidly evolving ecosystems. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career researcher to develop their skills, expand their research portfolio, and contribute to work with significant real-world environmental and policy impact.
