Workshop leaders assist a faculty member with instructional responsibilities including preparation and assessment of peer-lead team learning materials as well as leading weekly sessions with small cohorts of BIO205 students. Workshop leaders will coordinate their work with Dr. Amy Beadles-Bohling and will also work closely with one or more BIO205 Professors. Workshop leaders will work with students in person in classrooms on campus or virtually, depending on current UP policies. Faculty supervisors will provide feedback to workshop leaders throughout the semester. Workshops for Fall 2026 are scheduled during the following times: Mondays: 4:10-5:10pm, 5:20-6:20pm, 6:30-7:30pm and 7:40-8:40pm Tuesdays: 4:10-5:10pm, 5:20-6:20pm, 6:30-7:30pm and 7:40-8:40pm Wednesdays: 4:10-5:10pm, 5:20-6:20pm, 6:30-7:30pm and 7:40-8:40pm After your initial appointment and a training seminar for new Workshop leaders, instructors and supervisors will provide feedback throughout the semester. For Workshop leaders assisting a course for the first time, a mid-semester evaluation form will be completed by the course instructor. The Workshop leader and instructor will meet to discuss the evaluation, and the evaluation will then be submitted to the supervisor. All TAs will receive an evaluation at the end of the semester and have the opportunity to discuss with the course instructor.
