About The Position

The Bindery Operator works in the Bindery department on first, second, or third shift. This is a full-time position requiring proficient experience operating cutting and folding equipment; stitcher experience is a plus. Applicants should have at least three years of skilled bindery experience, knowledge of print applications involving cutting, folding, and stitching, and mechanical aptitude. The role includes equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and upkeep, along with project completion, accuracy, troubleshooting, housekeeping, administrative tasks, and compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of skilled bindery experience.
• Proficient experience operating cutting and folding equipment.
• Knowledge of print applications relevant to projects requiring cutting, folding, and stitching.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math, measurement, and computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand regularly for a minimum 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time, with frequent light-to-moderate lifting and bending.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work overtime and weekend schedules where applicable.

Responsibilities
