About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Bindery Finishing Operator to set up and operate print-finishing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. The role involves producing high-quality printed materials while meeting production deadlines and following safety and quality standards. The operator will inspect completed products, troubleshoot equipment, perform routine maintenance, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial printing, bindery, or print finishing.
• Experience operating paper cutters, folding machines, stitching equipment, or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read measurements and follow job specifications.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as needed, and meet production goals.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Polar, Challenge, MBO, Stahl, Heidelberg, Müller Martini, Duplo, Horizon, Kluge, or Bobst equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust bindery equipment, including paper cutters, folders, stitchers, collators, and binding machines.
• Perform cutting, folding, trimming, stitching, laminating, and binding operations.
• Read job tickets and follow production specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Meet production deadlines while following safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
