About The Position

Lakeside Book Company is the largest book manufacturer in North America. As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will assist the machine Operator with the everyday operation of the press, ensure the machine is producing product to exceed our customers’ expectations, work in a team environment and cross-train with others, and receive training to help advance your career. You will also move gathered books from the end of the press and place them on a skid.

Requirements

• Previous machine experience preferred
• Attention to detail, good communication skills, and comfortable with computer applications
• Ability to work in teams or alone, ability to motivate other team members
• Must be able to Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for the entire duration of your shift

Responsibilities
