About The Position

The BIM Modeler develops and maintains accurate building information models and produces 2D drawings, 3D models, and construction documents based on project requirements. The role works with architects, engineers, and project teams to coordinate designs, maintain model integrity, and support projects through design reviews, coordination meetings, and construction phases.

The position also involves clash detection, ensuring models follow applicable BIM standards and project specifications, extracting quantities and reports, and updating models to reflect design revisions, RFIs, and field changes. The BIM Modeler assists with BIM families, templates, and libraries.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in BIM modeling or drafting.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Strong understanding of building systems and construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with BIM standards such as LOD (Level of Development).

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Experience working in a specific discipline, such as MEP.
• Knowledge of BIM 360, ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud), or similar platforms.
• Experience with point cloud modeling, laser scanning, or reality capture.
• Basic scripting or automation skills, such as Dynamo or Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
• Produce 2D drawings, 3D models, and construction documents based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure coordinated designs and model integrity.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using tools such as Navisworks or BIM 360.
• Ensure models comply with BIM standards, company protocols, and project specifications.
• Extract quantities, schedules, and reports from BIM models for project planning and estimation.
• Update models based on design revisions, RFIs, and field changes.
• Assist in developing and maintaining BIM families, templates, and libraries.
• Support project teams during design reviews, coordination meetings, and construction phases.
