About The Position

KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Structural BIM Modeler to join its New York City Structural team. The role works closely with structural engineers and BIM professionals to develop accurate, coordinated Revit models and construction documents for a variety of building projects. The modeler takes ownership of BIM modeling, CAD, and documentation, supporting projects from design through documentation while coordinating with engineers and other disciplines. The position offers the opportunity to deepen structural expertise and take on meaningful project responsibility in a collaborative engineering practice. Projects include commercial developments, tenant improvements, adaptive reuse and renovation work, and select civic, K–12, and retail projects. The work model is flexible. Team members are typically in the office three days per week, with Mondays and Thursdays as core collaboration days. Employees spend additional time in the office during onboarding and training: primarily in-office during month one, approximately four days in-office during month two, and transitioning toward the standard flexible schedule from month three onward. Most work is performed at a computer, with occasional site visits depending on project needs. Compensation is an anticipated $90,000–$115,000, and the position is overtime eligible.
