About The Position

VIATechnik is seeking a remote BIM Detailer within the United States to transform coordinated models into fabrication-ready drawings for complex mechanical and plumbing systems. The role produces installer-ready deliverables that directly support fabrication and field installation, with attention to constructability, model accuracy, coordination, and project schedules. US work authorization is required.

The position offers exposure to advanced BIM workflows and manufacturing-driven construction, and collaboration with project management, coordination, fabrication, and field teams. It may provide a pathway into digital construction, automation, and AI-enabled BIM tools. The pay range is $65,000–$80,000, with eligibility for bonuses. Actual offers may vary based on skills, qualifications, location, and experience.

Requirements

• Experience producing mechanical and/or plumbing BIM drawings.
• Strong understanding of constructability and installation practices.
• Ability to create clear, detailed fabrication and spool drawings.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Strong communication skills across office and field teams.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Create spool drawings, fabrication packages, and installation details for fabrication and field teams.
• Ensure model accuracy, constructability, and coordination across systems.
• Support project teams in keeping detailing aligned with fabrication and construction schedules.
• Identify and resolve issues early to reduce rework and keep projects moving.
