About The Position

VIATechnik is hiring a remote BIM Detailer within the United States to transform coordinated mechanical and plumbing BIM models into accurate, fabrication-ready and installer-ready drawings. The role creates spool drawings, fabrication packages, and installation details that fabrication and field teams can use to execute complex systems. The detailer helps ensure model accuracy, constructability, and coordination across systems; supports alignment with fabrication and construction schedules; and identifies and resolves issues early to reduce rework. The work directly supports real-world installation and project execution. The position offers exposure to advanced BIM workflows, manufacturing-driven construction, project management, coordination, field teams, large-scale systems, and potential pathways into digital construction, automation, and AI-enabled BIM tools. VIATechnik describes itself as a global Virtual Design and Construction leader with more than 400 digital experts and work across major projects.

Requirements

• Experience producing mechanical and/or plumbing BIM drawings.
• Strong understanding of constructability and installation practices.
• Ability to create clear, detailed fabrication and spool drawings.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Strong communication skills across office and field teams.
• US work authorization is required.
