About The Position

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time BIM Coordinator to join its VDC/BIM team. The role works with internal and external teams—including engineers, BIM and Revit operators, general contractors, project managers, and owners—to produce high-quality models and shop drawings for construction. The position offers opportunities to grow and expand knowledge on the VDC/BIM team.

Requirements

Experience with BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, and Revizto.
Ability to actively listen, understand, and respond to diverse perspectives.
Ability to think critically, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions.
Experience working with cloud-based models.
Understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Dependability, self-starter attitude, and compliance with scheduled work hours.

Nice To Haves

Experience with electrical systems, including the ability to read single-line diagrams and plan sets.
Autodesk certification or an associate's degree in AutoCAD/Revit drafting and design.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate Revit 3D models of electrical systems, including telecom, fire alarm, and security systems when required.
Review and implement project specifications and BIM levels of development (LOD), and follow industry and company standards.
Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other project teams to resolve design conflicts.
Produce accurate, constructable plan sets, schedules, and detailed drawings.
Assist with the development and maintenance of project standards.
Contribute to a positive team environment.
Maintain regular attendance and comply with scheduled work hours.
Perform other duties or work at other locations as assigned by the manager.
