About The Position

As the Billing Team Lead, you will report to the Head of Finance and act as a bridge between Finance and Operations. You will lead a team of billing agents whose work mirrors that of Project Accountants, overseeing the entire lifecycle of project financials—from time and material tracking to revenue recognition. You will be responsible for ensuring that our billing is not only accurate and timely but also compliant with sophisticated accounting principles.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of consulting industry experience
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, specifically regarding revenue recognition, accruals, and project financial lifecycles.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct is highly preferred or similar.
  • Strong ability to manipulate and interpret data; you should be the person who finds the "needle in the haystack" when reconciliations don't match
  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-finance Project Managers and Consultants.
  • ERP and Commercial Experience Required
