The Revenue Operations (ROPS) Setup Manager is a frontline leader responsible for the "infrastructure" of the revenue cycle. They ensure that underlying systems and data—including source systems are configured correctly to minimize downstream billing exceptions and maximize payer reimbursement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Operational Oversight: Manage daily workflows for core functional lanes, which could include Contract Management , Revenue Management , Claim Content/Formatting , and Metadata . Team Leadership & Talent Management: Directly lead and develop a team of front-line teammates and supervisors (typically overseeing 2 supervisors and 10-15 teammates). Provide timely coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations. Process Improvement & Innovation: Identify efficiencies in Setup Lines of Business (LOB), test process changes, and leverage systemic problem-solving to analyze how changes in one part of a process affect other areas. Performance Accountability: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly key metrics (like SLA performance and WIP) to identify trends, variances, or barriers to growth. Collaboration & Relationship Management: Partner with ROPS and Finance teams, as well as Payer Partnerships, to align on SOPs and manage cross-functional projects. Strategic Thinking: Translate tactical goals into actionable milestones. Anticipate future business needs and align team objectives with broader Village priorities.
