About The Position
Supervises all Billing personnel on functions necessary for timely daily processing of current billing and secondary charges.
Requirements
- Two years experience in coding and billing claims
- Coding Certificate required
- Detail orientated with excellent organizational and communication skills

- Two years management experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible to ensure that all charges for all locations are accurately posted in a timely manner, as well as all system edits are corrected and billed out in a timely manner
- Reviews outstanding charges routinely and communicates to appropriate facility and/or staff members in order to complete the billing process
- Audits, corrects, and retrains staff as needed to ensure that all billers are up-to-date on the medical billing and payer guidelines
- Responsible for evaluating the performance of the Billing Department staff members
