About The Position

Cintas is seeking a Technical Billing Supervisor to assist in ensuring all functions of a fast-paced office team are completed accurately and on time. This role provides day-to-day leadership, with a strong emphasis on coaching, development, and performance management, while supporting invoicing, collections, customer requests, and month end close activities. This team focuses on invoice automation processes using EDI and CXML. The Supervisor ensures compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and audit requirements while partnering closely with service teams and customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, collections, and month end close procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet applications
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
  • 2 Years previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience working with customer and vendor invoicing portals (e.g., Ariba, Oracle, Coupa)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a Technical Billing A/R team, providing continuous feedback, training, and performance guidance
  • Direct daily activities of the Technical Billing A/R team, ensuring effective prioritization, delegation, and workload balance
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer and service team related to invoicing, collections, and account resolution
  • Oversee invoicing, collections, cash application, and account maintenance to ensure accuracy and achievement of A/R goals
  • Utilize and manage customer and vendor billing portals, including Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, and similar platforms, to submit invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payment
  • Monitor portal compliance requirements, documentation standards, and submission timelines to minimize delays and rejections
  • Interface with service teams to resolve billing issues and improve communication and process efficiency
