About The Position

EO Johnson Business Technologies is seeking a Billing Specialist who thrives on accuracy, collaboration, and process improvement. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring timely, accurate billing while supporting sales teams and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of billing or accounting-related experience
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook; PowerPoint preferred)
• Experience working with ERP or billing systems
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to explain billing information clearly
• Ability to prioritize tasks and perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated team player who values accuracy and collaboration

• College degree in accounting or a related field

Responsibilities

• Process and ensure accurate billing for office equipment, leases, and drop-ship orders
• Review invoices thoroughly before distribution to ensure correctness and compliance
• Manage updates to customer accounts, including addresses, contacts, phone numbers, and tax-exempt status
• Create and maintain customer records in the ERP system following company standards
• Work closely with imaging sales teams, third-party leasing companies, and internal partners
• Submit and manage lease documentation, rebates, credits, and equipment returns
• Scan and process documents within document storage systems
• Develop billing-related reports, identify trends, and communicate insights to leadership
• Serve as a billing expert within the e-Automate system
• Respond to customer billing questions via phone, email, and in person
