Billing Specialist
About The Position

Medsien is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to manage billing operations and ensure accurate, timely submission and processing of claims. This role will work closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain compliance with industry standards, resolve billing issues, and uphold excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role in a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of medical billing processes, including CPT, ICD-10 coding, and insurance claims
- Proficiency in billing software and EHR systems
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Nice To Haves
- Certification in Medical Billing and Coding (e.g., CPC, CCA) is a plus
- Experience with billing for Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) services
- Experience with athenahealth and Veradigm is a plus
