This role is crucial during the busy season and involves calculating costs and rates for services and goods shipments, preparing and issuing invoices, posting data, and maintaining accurate records. Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Exposure to billing and/or accounting principles
- Exceptional time management and attention to detail
- Be adaptable, flexible and versatile
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of three years of billing experience and knowledge of billing processes and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks at the level of importance
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Pay attention to the task at hand and avoid distractions
- Problem solving skills
- Competent with Microsoft Teams
Responsibilities
- Review documents in order to compute fees and charges due
- Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
- Prepare itemized invoices and amounts due for services rendered
- Keep records of invoices and support documents
- Prepare reports as needed
- Answer inquiries regarding billing
