About The Position

GHJ Search & Staffing is working with a growing litigation and trial firm in Beverly Hills who is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join its accounting and operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a professional services environment while working closely with experienced leadership and receiving hands-on mentorship. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office setting. Prior law firm billing experience is preferred, but candidates with strong billing or administrative experience from other professional services environments are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of billing, accounting support, or administrative experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Prior law firm billing experience
  • Strong billing or administrative experience from other professional services environments
  • Experience with billing software or e-billing platforms is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process client invoices
  • Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with client guidelines
  • Enter and verify time entries and billing information
  • Assist with invoice edits, revisions, and billing follow-up
  • Maintain organized billing records and documentation
  • Coordinate with internal team members regarding billing inquiries
  • Support basic accounts receivable follow-up as needed
  • Prioritize and manage a high volume of work from multiple sources
  • Assist with administrative and operational billing tasks
