We are seeking a passionate Billing Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management team (RCM). Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience billing Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
- Experience interpreting explanation of benefits (EOBs)
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Dependability is a must!
- Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel
Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting accurate claims to payers for the appropriate service lines daily
- Maintain billing documentation
- Support claim follow-up activities to promote clean claim submission and timely reimbursement
- Follow up on unpaid and denied claims
- Reconcile accounts
- Ensuring compliance with billing regulations and coding guidelines
