About The Position

IconicCare is bringing its Revenue Cycle Management in-house and is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to be a key member of this new team. This role involves more than just data entry; the successful candidate will play a crucial part in developing and establishing the company's billing processes from the ground up. The ideal candidate is driven by achieving results.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of full-scope billing experience.
• Demonstrated experience with professional claims.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems.
• Deep understanding of clearinghouses.
• Comfortable working in a 'build-out' environment where processes are being established in real time.

Nice To Haves

• Experience billing for multiple states is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full billing cycle, including creating, submitting, and following up on professional claims.
• Handle billing across multiple states, adhering to diverse payer rules and state regulations.
• Process billing for various service types and demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new ones.
• Actively work on denials, rejections, and appeals to ensure maximum and timely reimbursement.
• Accurately post insurance and patient payments, and identify/resolve credit balances or overpayments.
