Billing Solution Architect (US/Canada - Remote)

As a Solution Architect on the Neocol Delivery Team, you will be responsible for leading projects through requirements gathering, solution design, and build/deployment of the final solution for our subscription based clients. You'll be supporting your team with developing complex designs, helping our clients make architectural decisions, and guiding them through the development and adoption of their new system. Your role will involve deep diving into business process needs, defining project scope, building client confidence in the solution, facilitating solution demonstrations, and providing technical leadership and guidance to the wider project team. Additionally, you should have experience designing and developing CPQ, Billing & Salesforce solutions, be highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills.

• Leading projects through requirements gathering, solution design, and build/deployment of the final solution for subscription based clients
• Developing complex designs and helping clients make architectural decisions
• Guiding clients through the development and adoption of their new system
• Deep diving into business process needs and requirements, identifying areas of key complexity and expanding on those
• Defining project scope and identifying/managing "scope creep"
• Building client confidence in the solution as it is developed and providing guidance on how to effectively use and adopt the solution
• Facilitating solution demonstrations efficiently
• Assisting technical resources in solution design, development, and deployment during the project lifecycle
• Ensuring the solution is able to meet long-term goals for the client in regards to scalability and stability
• Guiding customers towards best practices for the solution they are developing
• Communicating technical details effectively to stakeholders and project team members
• Providing mentorship to resources on the team to help them grow and develop
• Developing code specifications for developers to use in the event of needing deeper customization
• Effectively communicating deadline risks and timeline shifts to the wider project team
• Providing general technical leadership and guidance to the wider project team
• Designing and developing CPQ, Billing, and Salesforce solutions
• Managing and prioritizing tasks while working collaboratively and independently
• Understanding varying client needs and responding flexibly and creatively
• Working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical resources
• Analyzing data and identifying opportunities for standardization of data and processes
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Translating technical subject matter to non-technical audiences
• Being agile and adaptable in environments with changing objectives and priorities.
