About The Position

This role focuses on resolving billing issues and ensuring account resolution through proactive measures. The Billing Problem Resolution (BPR) Representative will follow up on assigned accounts, analyze account details and payments, and respond to inquiries. Key responsibilities include researching and analyzing accounts, initiating recommendations for resolution (such as rebilling or checking claim status), and meticulously documenting all actions taken in the database. Additionally, BPR Representatives may be required to assist the customer service team with incoming calls when needed, performing a variety of clerical duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months medical billing experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow-through and keep current with consistent policy changes
  • Solid customer service and telephone skills
  • Knowledge and aptitude for basic computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with numbers and research
  • Must pass pre-employment assessment tests

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service call center experience preferred

Responsibilities
