About The Position

DependableIT is seeking dedicated Billing and Sales Representatives to join their growing Outsourcing company. The role involves supporting Internet, Digital Phone, and Cable TV subscribers over the phone, resolving billing issues, and identifying sales opportunities such as package upgrades, bundling services, or selling new services. The company emphasizes a fun and supportive work environment with a commitment to employee development and coaching.

Requirements

  • Stellar attendance and punctuality are a must
  • Minimum 1-year customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to receive and implement ongoing feedback / coaching
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal phone etiquette skills
  • Comfortable with technology, the Internet, Windows, and competent typing skills
  • Ability to successfully employ de-escalation strategies
  • Strong oral/written communication skills
  • Must be results oriented
  • Motivated to be a consistent performer
  • Availability to be scheduled between 8am and 9:30pm Mon-Sun

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and problem solving by responding to Inbound calls
  • Assist in billing calls - resolve billing issues, clarify charges on their account, help them to make payments
  • Identify where sales can be made, and push for sales on billing calls
  • Ability to work from home
  • Be an active listener who can show empathy and patience in a non-scripted environment
  • Resolve customer inquiries
  • Work in a fast paced, high volume, environment
  • Be comfortable with change
  • Multitask efficiently using several Windows applications simultaneously to verify customer information, determine the root cause of any issue and provide the proper resolution
  • Achieve performance goals for call time, accuracy, quality, de-escalation, and customer satisfaction
