About The Position

Due to significant growth (30%+ year-over-year), we are adding a Billing Specialist to support our expanding customer base. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with customers, and keeping financial processes running smoothly. You’ll play a key role in resolving billing issues, clearing credit holds, and ensuring orders move seamlessly through production. This is a highly collaborative position where you’ll partner closely with Accounting, Sales, and Customer Service teams.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High level of attention to detail and organization
• Ability to multitask and pivot in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, systems navigation)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve customer billing discrepancies and questions
• Work with Accounting to correct billing issues and maintain accurate records
• Clear credit holds daily by contacting customers and resolving payment issues
• Make outbound calls to follow up on past-due accounts and payment issues
• Support customers in updating payment methods and resolving order delays
• Provide clear, professional, and customer-friendly communication
• Prepare and send 5 custom quotes daily
• Set up and maintain accurate order information in systems
• Apply payments and ensure accounts are up to date
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Support reconciliation and cash flow activities
• Maintain payment plans and update account details
