About The Position

The Billing & Accounts Payable Clerk is an important role in the Accounting Department, supporting the daily financial operations of Taylor Logistics by ensuring invoices are processed accurately, payments are made on time, and customer billing is completed efficiently. This role involves processing invoices for the warehouse, fleet, and freight departments of the full-service 3PL company. Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous billing, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong mathematical and data entry skills.
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process carrier and vendor invoices.
• Prepare and distribute customer invoices.
• Verify billing information and supporting documentation.
• Ensure required documentation is received and uploaded into company systems.
• Schedule vendor payments and maintain payment records.
• Research and resolve billing and invoice discrepancies.
• Respond to customer and vendor inquiries.
• Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Accounting to support daily business needs.
