About The Position

The Biller Collector will be responsible for conferring with customers via telephone and email to collect on delinquent accounts. This role involves recording information about the financial status of customers and the status of collection efforts, reviewing collection reports daily, and handling the daily billing process for freight charges. The position also includes outgoing mail and scanning documents.

Requirements

• Great computer skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; telephone communication is a must
• Credit experience with D&B reports
• Must be able to read, analyze and interpret both verbal & written communications
• Must be a problem solver
• Minimum high school degree
• 3-5 years of previous clerical work experience
• The individual must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Basic mathematical skills

Responsibilities

• Confer with customers by telephone and email to collect on delinquent accounts
• Records information about financial status of customer & status of collection efforts
• Reviews collection reports on daily basis
• Daily billing process (Billing customer for freight charges)
• Outgoing mail
• Scanning documents
