Responsibilities include operating office equipment, registering new students, communicating between school, teachers, and parents, and making home visits for oral translation. The clerk will also translate written documents from English to Spanish, such as school letters, announcements, newsletters, awards, and report cards. Additional duties may include assisting with clerical and health needs during periods of reduced staff or peak workload.
